Why work at this hospital?
At Highfield Healthcare they foster an environment that is based on great people and exceptional patient care. It is truly unique, because they have a leadership that listens and cares, starting with a Senior Management Team who asks your opinions and involves you in the future of the organisation.
As a family owned and managed business, they appreciate the need to promote family friendly values and understand the full potential of family friendly working arrangements. All departments and disciplines act as one cohesive team for the good of the patient - with great relationships between doctors, nurses, care, catering, housekeeping, administration and the rest of the staff.
While the management team adopts an open-door policy and encourages open communication, feedback and discussion from staff at any level, they also recognise trade unions (in particular SIPTU, INO and the PNA). They are also happy to deal with them when you have a grievance or concern you feel cannot be handled within the organisation.
They recognize progress and ability, and encourage you to develop within the company through their commitment to your education and internal mobility. Staff come from all kinds of backgrounds and work together towards one common goal: the best possible care for their patients.
