Description | Job Title: Associate Executive Director, Nursing Services Reporting to: Immediate Superior Department: Nursing Services Basic Function: Within the mission, vision and values of our Client plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of Nursing Services by assuming 24-hour accountability for leadership and coordination of the department in collaboration with other hospital departments including the responsibility to administer the managerial functions of setting objectives and staffing activities of the assigned departments/areas of responsibility. |
Benefits | Employee will be contracted on Accompanied Status of whom must be a Spouse, and will receive the following benefits as outlined below. Should the spouse also be an Employee, there will be no pyramiding of benefits. Air Transport On Initial Mobilization: Air Transport for expatriate employees and their eligible dependents from designated airport to employment site on initial mobilization. Business Class Ticketing. Annual Merit Increase: Annual Merit increase is computed as percentage/step upon re-contracting based on annual evaluation. End of Service Award. (equivalent to 15 days pay) Re-contracting Bonus: Staff who has worked for a year with the Program and re-contracts for another year will be granted a bonus equivalent to one (1) month of his/her basic salary. Repatriation Ticket: Air Transport from work site (e.g. Riyadh) to designated International Airport for repatriating expatriate employees and their eligible dependents, who either completed the contract, was terminated by the Program, or has resigned after one year only. Annual Ticket: Upon completion of the first contract year and upon re-contracting for a minimum of one (1) additional year, round trip air transport for the expatriate employee and eligible dependents from Program site to designated airport and return. Housing Accommodation: Housing accommodation shall be provided by the Employer to expatriate employees and their eligible dependents based on their eligibility and housing availability. Housing Allowance: Employees who are neither offered nor provided of housing by the Program will be eligible to receive a monthly Housing allowance of 25% of the employee's monthly basic salary but not to exceed total annual housing allowance of SR20,000. Transportation Allowance: Employees who do not occupy a Program-provided housing and who are not offered transportation to and from work will be eligible to receive a monthly Transportation Allowance of SR800. Business Leaves and Travel Allowance: Business Leaves and Travel Allowance shall be provided in accordance with existing guidelines and policies of the client hospital. Dependent Children Educational Allowance: The Employer will pay for the actual costs of required academic expenses including tuition, examination fees, lodging and books directly related to tuition, based on the billing documents provided by the school for each eligible dependent child in Grades 1 through 12 attending any accredited school, either in the Kingdom or abroad, up to SR23,000 per school year. Each eligible dependent child in Grade 10, 11 or 12 who are studying abroad will receive an additional SR 5,000. Medical Care: Employees with married status contracts will be eligible for medical care except Cosmetics, Dental and IVF procedures Leaves and Holidays a) Annual Leave: Thirty (30) calendar days of paid Annual Leave per contract year. b) Holidays: Working days of paid Holidays inclusive of: Eid AI-Fitr, Eid AI-Adha, and the National Day, in accordance with the Ministry of National Guards Health Affairs regulations. c) Compassionate Leave: Paid Compassionate Leave of seven (7) calendar days, without airline ticket, in case of death of descendants, ascendants or spouse. d) Administrative Leave: Six (6) calendar days of Administrative Leave each contract year in lieu of incurred overtime and on-call pay. Administrative Leave is not accruable and has to be taken within contract year otherwise it will be forfeited. e) Sick Leave: A worker whose sickness is proved will be entitled to paid leave for the first thirty (30) days, three quarters of the wage for the following sixty (60) days, and without pay for the thirty (30) days thereafter during the year, whether the leave is connected or intermittent (one year starting from the date of the first sick leave). f) Maternity Leave/Paternity Leave: Paid Maternity Leave of up to ten (10) weeks or seventy (70) calendar days for a married female employee on Accompanied Status Contract, which may start four (4) weeks maximum preceding the expected date of delivery and six (6) weeks immediately following delivery. A married male employee will be entitled to a paternity leave of three (3) days with pay on the occasion of the birth of his child, which must be taken within one (1) year after the child's birth |
Requirements | Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing Master Degree in Nursing or related discipline from an accredited institution Registered Nurse with current Nursing license Eligible for registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Work Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) years’ current clinical nursing experience following Licensure/registration in the country of origin, eight (8) years of which in managerial capacity including two (2) years in comparable positions |
