Locum 90-day contract_Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit (CVSDU)

Scope of Service: Cardiovascular Step-Down Unit (CVSD) No. of Beds: 7 HOURS OF OPERATION: 24 hours per day, 7 days per week The Cardiovascular Step-Down Unit (CVSD) cares for pediatric patients requiring intermediary intensive care 24-48 hours post the surgical treatment of cardiac problems. This includes patients requiring or having previously had thoracic surgery including heart, lungs or the great vessels. Off-service patients requiring ICU, cardiac monitoring or other nursing services may be admitted as beds are available. Most commonly seen surgical procedures include: * Valve repair and/or replacement * Congenital cardiac defect repairs * Preoperative pediatric cardiology patients * Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) patients * Heart transplant patients

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Current registration as a professional registered nurse. Eligible for registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical nursing experience following licensure/registration in the country of origin.
