Nursing Salaries & Benefits in Saudi Arabia

Nursing salaries in Saudi Arabia vary according to the hospital, position, nursing speciality, qualifications and relevant clinical experience.
Some hospitals operate defined salary scales, while other nursing positions may have salaries that are individually assessed or negotiable.

Profco (Professional Connections) recruits experienced international nurses for opportunities with leading hospitals in Saudi Arabia, including King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC)

How Is My Nursing Salary in Saudi Arabia Calculated?

There is no single salary that applies to every international nurse.
Depending on the employer and position, your salary may be influenced by:
  • Nursing qualifications
  • Relevant post-registration clinical experience
  • Nursing speciality
  • Seniority and level of the position
  • Current remuneration where applicable
Where salary is negotiable, candidates may be asked to provide recent payslips or information about their current remuneration.

Are Nursing Salaries in Saudi Arabia Tax-Free?

Saudi Arabia does not generally impose personal income tax on an individual's employment income. Nursing salaries earned from employment in Saudi Arabia are therefore generally paid without Saudi personal income tax.
Your tax position outside Saudi Arabia will depend on your individual circumstances and country of tax residence. Professional tax advice should be obtained where required.
