No. of beds: 34 The Pediatric Medical Unit provides care to neonatal - 14 year-old patients having complex medical conditions. The Department of Pediatrics provides tertiary and quaternary care across a wide range of specialties, including: General Paediatrics Allergy & Immunology Endocrinology & Diabetes Gastroenterology Infectious Diseases Nephrology Pulmonology Rheumatology General Paediatrics manages children with a wide variety of conditions, including complex multisystem diseases. Services encompass growth and development monitoring, newborn evaluation, disease screening, care of high-risk children, pre- and post-surgical assessment, palliative care and coordinated discharge planning. KFSH&RC's paediatric services also work closely with specialist areas including paediatric haematology/oncology, neurology, cardiology, medical genetics and critical care, providing nurses with exposure to a highly specialised multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, At least two years' recent acute nursing experience. This opportunity would be particularly suitable for Registered Nurses with recent experience in: Paediatric medical nursing General paediatrics Children's medical wards Complex or chronic paediatric conditions Paediatric gastroenterology, respiratory, renal, endocrine or infectious diseases Other closely related acute paediatric specialties
