Registered Nurse | Neurosurgery | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | 1 or 2-Year Renewable Contract

No. of Beds: 36 The unit provides nursing care to both Adult and Pediatric Neurosurgical and Neurology Patients with malignant and / or congenitally-related diseases who require complex diagnostics, major surgeries and extensive treatment follow-up programs. In addition, the Unit has 5 beds assigned to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), which provides nursing care to adult and pediatric patients with epilepsy. The EMU utilizes networked digital video EEG equipment to provide long-term diagnostic EEG recording services for the evaluation of seizure disorders in patients older than one year. Patients admitted to the EMU have a known or suspected seizure disorder requiring classification, characterization and quantification, and their evaluation may be included in a work-up for surgical intervention. The Unit has 2 beds for Lutetium -177 brain tumor treatments (Room70&72), x2 beds for High Dependency Unit (Room 58 & 60) following the Admission Criteria for C1 HDU & Scope of Service.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, At least two years' recent acute nursing experience. Your current or recent experience should match the ward/unit you are seeking to apply to.
