The Renal Transplant Unit is a 10-bed specialist unit operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing comprehensive care for patients undergoing living and deceased donor renal transplantation. The unit cares for adult patients aged 14 years and above, including patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), renal failure and complex co-existing medical conditions. Registered Nurses work as part of an experienced interdisciplinary transplant team incorporating: Renal transplant nursing Transplant surgery Renal medicine Pharmacy Dietetics Physiotherapy Social work Clinical specialists The unit provides comprehensive pre- and post-renal transplant care, with patients requiring close clinical monitoring and prompt nursing and medical intervention. The transplant programme also brings together specialist resources including immunogenetics, desensitisation and blood-group incompatible transplantation, giving nurses exposure to highly specialised and complex renal transplant care. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Eligible for registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical nursing experience in the relevant specialty following licensure/registration in the country of origin We welcome applications from nurses with at least 18 months of current experience in the relevant specialty. You can be interviewed while working towards the required two years of experience. As the licensing process takes several months, your application, interview and licensing process can progress in parallel while you complete the remaining experience requirement.
